This work is from a residency at a glasmalerei in Germany to understand the connections between my painting and art glass. I was invited to learn and study, a truly unique experience. Colourful, translucent and transparent glass is a durable way of moving a 2D work into an exterior situation. These three panels are kiln fired, handpainted and sandblasted. They explore a number of techniques while they connect to the landscape imagery that is part of my studio explorations.
