Landscape work is a rich tradition in painting. It is so well loved that it begs for renewal. These blurred paintings began in a moment of destruction. Caught between the past and new ideas, I began to destroy the work. The blurred surface inspired new interest. It developed into a longer study of disintegration and change with multiple interpretations.
